Vintage Style Senior Portraits

Ever want to be a bathing beauty from 1950?  This high school student has a great vintage vibe and was really interested in the fashion of the 1950's.  I found this fun vintage bathing cap at Her Best Friend's Closet. It's a great consignment store packed with unique fashion finds of all eras, and it's right around the corner from my Glendora, California photography studio.

This isn't a classic fifties bathing suit, but a cute dress that totally looked the part.  I added some thrift store sunglasses I have in the studio wardrobe, and some bright red lipstick, and it's a fun and playful fifties senior portrait.

I like to build every Los Angeles High School Senior portrait session to suite the girl I am photographing.  No self-respecting student wants to look like everyone else, so I am there to help bring each girl's uniqueness to the surface.  It's my goal that my clients will see their portraits and be thrilled that I nailed their personality in the picture, whether it's quirky, or introspective, intense or joyful.

No Ugly Backdrops!

I'm not just going to stick my clients in front of a brick wall or an ugly backdrop or a backlit field and expect them to be thrilled. I wouldn't be thrilled.  Your Los Angeles high school senior portrait session should be AMAZING, and nothing less.

The key to understanding a client's personality and dream shoot is to have a pre-consultation.  I often share Pinterest boards with clients or brainstorm at the studio.  This is your time to look stunning and have the most creative and beautiful portraits of your life.  Click for more information about Vintage-style Los Angeles Senior Portraits.
